Michele McGovern, CEO of San Francisco-based Iris Financial Solutions, which sells software for securities trading and risk management, said that the consolidation of banks offers tremendous opportunities for growth.
McGovern said Iris' business grew 20 percent last fiscal year, and she predicted that it would grow another 20 percent by the end of the firm's current fiscal year, March 31. Iris employs 60 people worldwide, and it expects to add up to 15 more people over the next six months, she said.
"Wealth management is a growth sector. There's still a huge amount of opportunity in this sector," she said.
